As sisters who grew up eating skewers in New York, we wanted to bring these flavors back home. Richmond deserves to be a part of the memory that raised us. At Sao Kao Spot, our roots are anchored in the '烧烤' or "shao kao" tradition: high heat, bold spices, and perfectly juicy textures.

From our carefully curated aromatic oils and hand-blended sauces to the heat and passion that fuels the open fire grills, our love for our food lives in every step of the process.
